Last year, as part of Disney California Adventure's five year expansion and refurbishment initiative, the Mulholland Madness roller coaster and adjacent restaurants were transformed into Goofy's Sky School and the Boardwalk restaurants. Removed were the kitschy giant animations, oversized hamburger, wild colors, and cartoonish atmosphere. Taking their place was an elegant Victorian motif, reflecting the rest of Paradise Pier's retheme. In this case, a seaside park atmosphere created a classy, beautiful area of great contrast to its predecessor. And come nightfall, this place truly shines!
