A Pirate's Life's for Me
You'd never guess from this elegant facade what adventures lie within. Plundering pirates, lascivious auction bidders, thrilling sea battles, boundless treasure, burning villages, and the ghosts of Davy Jones Locker all away inside. And they all seem connected by a catchy central song about pilfering and drinking and just having a merry, town-sacking good time. But outside.... outside, it's just a stately building, grandly crafted, glistening in the late afternoon sun. But take a step in, and drink up, me hearties. You might find that a pirate's life is quite suitable!
I should also mention a few minor tweaks to the site. ReplyDeleteI had been intrigued by the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. I reminded myself that we would have to make reservations for our next trip. We finally did this past January. It was a great experience and I am sure we will repeat it.
ReplyDeleteNice blog! Although the Pirates of the Caribbean is, obviously, supposed to take place in the Caribbean, the boarding area and the first minute or so of the ride have a New Orleans theme. You are, I imagine, suppose to believe that you are sailing from the bayou to the Caribbean...
